Atompunk Styled Abandoned Soviet Submarine
Created as part of the Create with Client weekly challenge, an atompunk themed nuclear submarine is stranded in a frozen, acrid wintery landscape, slowly being rediscovered.
The submarine uses various inspirations from the atompunk period of 1950-60s, including soviet ekranoplanes, which were the main inspiration for the model. Smooth chrome countours, retro futuristic spires and designs with no regard for efficiency in the face of unlimited atomic power defined my references. UV maps were done across 5 UDIMs. Modelling done in Cinema4D and rendered in Octane. Texturing in substance painter. Post work in resolve.
